AMBOSS was incredibly useful throughout all four years of medical school. The content library is so thorough and digestible and the app makes rounding and breeze! The question bank was also so extensive and helpful for STEP 1 & 2 (and shelf exams, too!).

I loved the underlined definitions and library aspect of Amboss, which helped me build connections and a firmer understanding of interrelated topics while doing questions and flash cards. I liked that Amboss would highlight pertinent information in a question stem to help train pattern recognition, give hints to aid recall prior to giving up, and makes it so you submit on one click (making it so you really try to be confident with answers prior to clicking).

Amboss is a comprehensive resource. Its connection to anki, its articles, its AI integration and its questions are all I need. It is the only resource I use now because it is well made and a one stop shop.

Amboss was incredibly useful throughout all 4 years of medical school! As a preclinical student, it helped supplement lectures and fill in gaps with my Step 1 studying. During clinical rotations, it was invaluable on the wards, where I used it to look up quick details and study for shelf exams. And of course, it was helpful during Step 2 studying and I really credit my 270 score to Amboss!

I love that the questions are challenging, but also highlight the buzz words/information needed to answer the question so you can focus your studies - especially crucial for step in identifying questions and answers! I also love that the articles are directly connected to the question for a full or narrowed picture. In addition, I love that it is extremely customization: you can create different study plans, single topic questions, multiple topic questions. Lastly, you can reset your history as many times as you please, where it's only once for Uworld.

I used Amboss primarly as a supplement to lectures during my first two years. It really broke down topics that I was struggling with and I LOVE the highlight feature that shows the most important info for exams. In my clinical years, I found Amboss to be even more invaluable. The app and Qbank at my fingertips came in handy every single day. It is basically a google of medical knowledge and is so helpful in solidifying concepts and testing them. The strategic study plans that break down questions by day also keeps you on track and makes sure that you are slipping too far behind esp on busier clinical months.

AMBOSS has been an invaluable resource during my third-year clerkships. It has allowed me to efficiently learn about patient pathology, refresh my knowledge after rounds, and reinforce concepts at home. The ability to test myself after going home each day has been instrumental in solidifying my understanding, and I am incredibly grateful for how comprehensive and effective AMBOSS has been throughout my clinical training.

AMBOSS was an incredible resource all four years of medical school. During first and second year, it helped amplify my board preparation. In my third and fourth years, it was a reliable resource that helped me study for shelf exams and quickly look up information during my clinical rotations. I am excited to continue to use this resource in residency and as a practicing physician. I can't recommend it enough!

AMBOSS as a resource and company is innovation exemplified. While most would find AMBOSS commendable for its in-depth board questions, a comprehensive clinical library, and anki integrations, I think the real secret behind AMBOSS is how ravenously they improve in a conservative and slow-moving field like medicine. Modern medical graduates are experts at efficient information processing by the nature of how the world is changing, and AMBOSS is the resource that best understands and takes advantage of that. We don’t have time in the clinic to traverse through a long narrative or textbook; we need information quickly, efficiently, and integrated which AMBOSS does. I’ve been telling people throughout medical school that investing in AMBOSS is like investing in amazon in the early 2010’s, they are taking over medical education and will be the hospitalhold name in 20 years.

AMBOSS helped me truly understand what I was learning during my pre-clinical years of medical school. Whenever I encountered a term, pathology, or subject I didn't understand in my lectures, I used AMBOSS's library to read more about it in an easy-to-digest way.

Ever since my first rotation of Family Medicine, AMBOSS has been a staple for me. Both in terms of the QBank and the medical library, if I had a question I wanted answered I knew the resource I'd go for. In fact, I have AMBOSS to thank for assisting me in figuring out a particularly tough case that we had encountered during my family medicine rotation, and I can also confidently say that the QBank has prepared for me for STEP 1 and COMLEX 1 in ways I wasn't expecting, and to some extent the COMATs as well. The overall ease of access and availability of AMBOSS, both on the web and app, has proven useful to me. I have used it during my Internal Medicine rotation in order to help me properly organize my thoughts into a meaningful differential, which then guided me onto the path of a strong assessment and plan. As far as clinical tools go, AMBOSS is something I will always recommend.Beyond just serving as a repository for practice questions, AMBOSS has significantly enhanced my clinical reasoning and decision-making. For example, when I encountered a patient with atypical symptoms during a rotation, I was able to quickly reference up-to-date guidelines and differential diagnoses, which helped me formulate a precise management plan. This rapid, evidence-based approach not only bolstered my confidence but also improved patient outcomes during critical moments. To summarize, AMBOSS has played a multifaceted role throughout my on-going training as a medical student and future physician. Its comprehensive resources have not only prepared me for standardized exams like the STEP and COMLEX but have also provided invaluable support during clinical rotations. Whether by enhancing my differential diagnoses, solidifying my study habits, or refining my approach to patient care, AMBOSS has been instrumental in shaping both my academic performance and clinical acumen.

AMBOSS is a true one-stop shop for medical students, making it uniquely suited for studying on rotations. AMBOSS can tailor learning to you as a student AND a clinician in training, allowing you to have the information you need when you need it. Along with this, it’s seamless integration into Anki and its question bank that in my experience, simultaneously teaches you the content and how to think as a test taker. AMBOSS was incredibly valuable to me as a didactic and clinical student, and I would recommend it to medical learners at every stage of their education.

I initially struggled with Step 1, facing a challenging period after an unsuccessful attempt. However, AMBOSS played a pivotal role in my success, providing the structured learning and comprehensive explanations I needed to pass. What sets AMBOSS apart is its exceptional teaching approach, allowing me to break down complex questions, identify recurring themes, and develop a deeper understanding of key concepts. Now, as I prepare for Step 2, I have designed a strategic study plan using AMBOSS, enabling me to tackle questions consistently over a longer period. This approach ensures that I build confidence and mastery well before my dedicated six-week study period begins.AMBOSS has truly transformed the way I study, and I highly recommend it to anyone preparing for the USMLE.

AMBOSS was an invaluable resource throughout med school and clinical rotations. Its comprehensive library and high-yield QBank helped me solidify key concepts for board exams, and improve my clinical reasoning. The concise explanations made complex topics easier to understand, and the clinical decision-making tools were a game-changer during rotations. Having AMBOSS was key to my success in the clinical environment, providing quick access to information that helped me excel in many instances.

I used the AMBOSS QBank for all my SHELF exams and STEP2. I think it really helped me to excel on these exams, and I recommend the product to the students I tutor. No other QBank has questions that are as thought-provoking and demanding of active learning, and the tools that are included are extremely beneficial as one goes to learn the material.

Amboss has a lot of questions and they are more difficult than other Qbanks, which is good for board prep. The explanations for the answer choices are excellent, including the distractor answer choices. Some Qbanks only have 4 answer options (eg A, B, C, D), whereas Amboss questions usually have a lot more (eg A, B, C, D, E, F) which prioritizes knowledge over guessing. Overall, Amboss is the most thorough study resource that I use. On rotations, residents and attendings are sometimes surprised that I, as a student, know certain things, and usually Amboss is the reason. I scored in the top 1% for every COMAT I took, and Amboss played a big role in that.

Using Amboss has helped me improve my question solving skills by helping me learn what information I should emphasize when answering. I also use Amboss' questions to help me prepare for the board and in-house exams. In addition, it is a great program to use to help cover some gaps within my studies and understand concepts/topics better.

I’ve been using Amboss since T1 of my first year of medical school and it is by far my favorite and most trusted resource. The articles help break down complex topics while I am listening to lectures and help answer questions sometimes before I even have thought of them. The QBank has been invaluable for preparing for both in-house exams and board prep exams. I often tell my friends and peers that I tutor that if you can do the Amboss questions, you can do anything that comes your way on an exam!

AMBOSS helped me to expand my learning and thinking as a medical student preparing for residency. I loved the interactive and easy to navigate interface. It was very easy to understand the information provided and then complete practice questions based on that information. I also loved the easy to access database app on my phone/ipad that I could use to quickly look up information as needed on clinical rotations.

Amboss was and still is my first source for finding information on the go. What I love most? I have such a powerful tool in my pocket at all times. No service in hospital? No problem I have the library downloaded. I also do quite a bit of international travel and mission trips, so having such a powerful tool downloaded at all times was invaluable to me.
